Passionate supporters of Ariana Grande are calling for that a individual who leaped a fence and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him disrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Well-being

Many fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals called for online networks to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Many of fans had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed stage production Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely relationship between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
